Surveys:
There are several kinds of surveys located throughout this site. First and most obvious, are the "preloaded surveys.” These action research surveys collect data based on company, workgroup, age, gender, and ethnicity, etc. Although the TAG surveys are sorted by company and workgroups, we often collect other data such as job title, Industry/organization, region, etc. We class, rank and score this data and sometimes make such information available to affiliate organizations and sponsors.  We never provide personal information about individuals participating in the surveys.  The surveys results do not reveal personal information.
We sometimes create pretests and post-tests surveys (The Preloaded Surveys) which are used to assess progress and effectiveness of a particular problem or issue and there are time-sequenced surveys used to measure performance and outcomes. We are constantly measuring our own progress and customer satisfaction. Please see Informed Consent document located in this section for details of the use of survey information.

This information is integrated with all other sources and never reveals personal information, never!  YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION SUCH AS YOUR NAME, EMAIL ADDRESS, RESIDENCE, PHONE NUMBER, PLACE OF BUSINESS, ETC, IS NOT MADE AVAILABLE TO ANY THIRD PARTY EVER!

FYI:
As a courtesy to our customers and clients, we have prepared an overview of various forms of privacy policies that you will encounter on the Internet.  Although it has been said that there is no privacy – we disagree. Privacy is a major issue as evidenced by the number of new Bill before Congress – privacy laws.  While we support these new laws, we believe that actions speak louder than words. At aboutChange we accept responsibility foe making the Internet more user friendly, safe and private.

FREEDOM OF INFORMATION AND PRIVACY LAWS

Consumer Protection Privacy Act H. R. 1263March 10, 2005 http://www.theorator.com/bills109/hr1263.html
Notice of Electronic Monitoring Act
Secure Online Communications Enforcement Act 2000
Freedom of Behavioral Profiling Act 2000

Four Kinds of Online Privacy Policies

A) Self-regulation:
Privacy is simply good business. Problem is you can’t count on it. And buried somewhere in the privacy statement is an “op-out” clause that essentially waives your right to privacy. Let the buyer beware. This is a new wave “caveat emptor.” At TAG, you are in control. You must opt-in to an affiliate program. You choose who you want to do business with, not TAG.

B) Privacy Management Systems:
Information is encrypted via sophisticated and expensive software. This is expensive to begin with and the people who are most interested in these kinds of privacy systems are more concerned about protecting their own privacy at your expense.

C) Infomediaries:
Collect information about you with out revealing your identity.  However, Infomediaries sell this information to third parties for a fee and then they split any revenues generated from sales of product you purchase with the customer.  While it sounds like a good idea, Infomediaries use an “opt-in,” “opt-out” approach to e-marketing and sales. This is known as affiliate networking and brokering. The customer gets filtered solicitations and the Infomediaries collect data about your purchase behavior.

D) TAG approach:
Here we collect knowledge and share our knowledge with you. We believe that our clients (business professionals) are learners and are interested in acquiring and sharing knowledge assets.  We aggregate the information and share it with all members who participate.  Members are only contacted bu affiliate after theu have requested information, a double opt-in process.  What you get is a collaborative process for converting knowledge into capital—the knowledge bank. In the future you will enjoy a more reliable search by category based on your personal profile.  This translates into fewer clicks and more relevant hits – transformation leads to transaction. We call this process TransformAction!
